Bio:
Donald Hart brings over two decades of dynamic coaching experience and leadership to the field, with a proven track record of success in multiple sports and at various competitive levels. A graduate of Arkansas Tech University, where he played collegiate baseball for four years and earned a Bachelor’s degree in General Business, Donald has spent his life dedicated to developing athletes on and off the field.
Before stepping into the High School coaching world full-time, Donald spent 19 years in manufacturing supervision, honing his leadership, discipline, and team-building skills—qualities that now define his coaching approach.
Donald’s coaching journey began on the diamond, where he spent 22 years coaching Little League and travel softball, leading teams to two National Championships and three State Titles. His high school coaching résumé includes: Paris High School Softball (5 years): Led teams to the state tournament 3 out of 4 years, with 2 semifinal appearances. Greenwood High School Softball (3 years): Reached the state tournament all three seasons, including one semifinal finish.
His experience also includes three years as Head Cross Country Coach at Paris High School, along with assistant in junior and senior high basketball for 3 years and two years as Head Coach.
Off the field, Donald is a devoted family man. He has been married to his wife, Beverly, for 24 years. Together, they’ve raised four beautiful daughters, ranging in age from 18 to 22. When he’s not coaching, you’ll find Donald enjoying the outdoors—whether it’s deer or duck hunting, crappie fishing, golfing, or simply spending quality time with his family.
Known for his competitive spirit, commitment to fundamentals, and passion for mentorship, Donald is dedicated to building championship programs and shaping athletes into confident, disciplined, and high-character individuals
